Hello all, it has been a while since I have posted here, but THANK GOD...business has been booming!  I wanted to post some exciting news and information as well as to share my feelings on matters that STILL haunt me...

First, as I mentioned, business has been GREAT! I have more custom orders than I am able to manage, but yet I do, and I have been getting many requests for jewelry parties as well as vendor events. I have also been RE-INVITED to appear on the Three Wise Girls Radio Talk show (T.B.A.) And working on a spot on the Black Business Owners Networks Radio show as well.

Now on to more personal yet business matters...I posted a blog a while back about a "former friend" of mine who accused me of "stealing" her "ideas and designs" back in the early part of 2009. Well low and behold, over the past couple of months, I have noticed that her designs have oddly taken the form of mine, albeit "her style".

So, after being falsely accused of a "lack of integrity", I find that this person may be committing the exact offense she accused me of. The difference? Although she claims to be so "spiritual" and even questioned MY spirituality, I REFUSE to email her to accuse her of what she accused me of!

WHY?? Well first, because I know what it feels like to be falsely accused...second, because unlike her, I am TRULY a spiritual person who refused to roll in the muck and mire of accusations and name calling! If this person was such a "friend", it would appear to me that instead of sending me vicious emails, she would have called, as a SPIRITUAL person would have, and "discussed" her concerns.

A couple months ago, I noticed that this person STOPPED posting to Twitter and decided to check out her FB page (I figure she didn't know I knew it existed) and low and behold, found the reason why she STOPPED posting to Twitter was because her designs were looking very similar to mine...from the swirled wire rings (my MetalMuse line that has been out since summer of 09), to the Breast Cancer Awareness jewelry I started on NEW YEARS DAY (she suspiciously started hers two days later, AFTER I peeped her on my website) and now my cuff jewelry which again, has been up and running since the summer of last year!

Now, to put things in perspective, I do NOT tutorial!! The ONLY tutorials I have done EVER was to learn how to form a ring base and cuff frame...simple "get you started tutorials". EVERY, yes EVERY design you see on my site or elsewhere is made from the mind of..ME! Not "abc" from "xyz" tutorial store. I am, without a doubt, a SELF-TAUGHT jewelry, gift basket, flower arrangement making, you name I do it, ARTIST!

To make matters WORSE, I believe she is intentionally LYING to her so called clientele' and giving them my website with the "pre-concieved" notion that I am copying her. She had the AUDACITY *lol* to  "claim" these people "came to her", LIES...these people don't know me, nor my website, so how could they possibly get my information unless given to them??

Bottom line is, if there is ANYONE who is reading this blog who has been told misinformation or BLATANT LIES about my business or designs...get the TRUTH! I have been doing this since 1998 and have NEVER and WILL NEVER need another's ideas to make things happen!

It is because of this, that we (yes WE) have updated our Quality Product Pledge to include our Integrity Promise...AND, very soon will be adding a PUBLIC timeline of ALL our lines and designs so that all who are "misinformed" are quickly redirected to the truth!  Our updated QPIP statement is here: http://www.jandmdesigns4u.com/quprpl.html

And remember, no matter WHAT you do..always be a PROFESSIONAL and keep account of what you do...I do! The great thing is that before I string a bead, twist a wire, or solder a link...my PARTNER in business, life and LOVE is RIGHT there to confirm it all!! Even he is shaking his head over this, because HE KNOWS the lies that the devil is using this person to tell! But WE will continue to press forward.

February 25-26th will be a BIG day for us as we pitch our designs to a VERY WELL KNOWN and elaborate retailer who is looking for UNIQUE jewelry such as ours!  SOOOO...keep us lifted in prayer as I fly back to NYC....be blessed and NEVER stressed!!!

It has been quite sometime since I have posted in this blog but life has been busy and business has been good. But with the holiday rush in full swing, I thought it good to post a blog about some exciting news in the world of J & M Designs Boutique.

One thing I would like to address is pricing at J & M Designs. I have LONG beent old by other professionals in the industry that my pricing is too low for my designs. I believe in giving my customers the absolute best prices, however, I know how I am when I shop.

Normally, if something is inexpensive, I shy away from it. I tend to go for the pricier items because they are generally better quality, not to mention that what woman doesn't want to brag a little about a truly unique and slightly more expensive piece of jewelry that no one else has???

So starting in the spring of 2010, you will see pricing at J & M Designs begin to increase, not to riduculous, but to fair and truly "unique boutique" pricing. But prices will still be very reasonable and affordable. But we feel are jewelry is worth the cost and so are you

We will slowly begin making some changes to the website...again...so stay tuned for those as well.

Well, I have been very busy filling customer orders, renting out my home and dealing with some personal family issues.

But I am still very much here and have some exciting JaM news!

I have been asked to stomp the runway this October for a huge fashion show for Bloomingdeals Boutique in Kennewick, WA, a great boutique I happen to have some JaM Jewels on display at.

In addition to modeling, I have been commissioned to create the jewels for the event. I also have a wedding to make jewels and shoes for, also in October! October tends to have become my busy month as I am also attending the Bead Tour by Rings & Things in Spokane! (www.twitter.com/Rings_Things)

Well, it's been a while since I last posted a blog! But I have been extremely busy with custom orders and everyday life that seems to be getting harder!

But I would like to give some information on new things happening now and coming to J & M Designs. First, we have made some AWESOME new changes to our website in order to ease navigation and make your shopping experience a pleasurable one!

Second, we have officially introduced our Jewel Toes line as promised this month. We will continue designing our shoes and getting them up ASAP to offer a broader range. But keep in mind, we SPECIALIZE in customization and encourage use of our convenient custom order forms and email.

JaM also has its jewelry designs featured in TWO salons here in the Tri Cities, WA area with a boutique still in the works. We are ever grateful to those who are working hard to get our name and our designs out there to the world!!

Next, we will having our first Wine & Wares Jewelry & Art Party next month and look forward to our event and name becoming the talk of the town!

Finally, we will be featured on a business information show on Public Access TV coming up in the next couple of months. The details have to be ironed out, but this BIG for us! So stay tuned for more information on this exciting new venture and opportunity!

I am just posting this blog as information on some new and exciting lines coming out for J & M Designs. We have just intoduced our new Metal Muse™ line of rings and armbands. Now we are introducing Primpy Pets™ line of beaded, wired, and jeweled cat and dog collars!

I had a person ask me how I come up with my concepts for new lines. Metal Muse™, like so many other lines, was a complete accident! I had some extra wire after making a cuff and decided to make a ring. I came up with a beautiful swirl design and LOVED it! So 12 rings in one hour led me to start the Metal Muse™ line!

The Primpy Pets™ has been kind of sort of in the works for about two weeks now, although I must say, when I was asked to make a customer a dog collar for her beloved poochie, I was intending on soley making her collar and being done with it! I didn't think of actually creating an entire line, until someone else asked if I could make a pretty collar for their cat My hubby (the J in J & M) convinced me to start a line. It was also his idea to start jewelry repair services after five folk bought me their broken baubles...lol!

So today I am working on those two custom cat and dog collar orders and hopefully will have those up later today or at least by weeks end!

Also coming in August is JewelToes™ beaded and jeweled shoes! Yes ladies...SHOES!!!!

I am very excited about the ideas and visions God continues to give me and the great people whom he uses to pass his message!
